The Iguazu National Park in October recorded the entry of 124,187 visitors. The great movement on Sunday (31), had a 11% increase compared to October last year. That day the park received 9,017 visitors.
The Brazilians are the largest park visitors with 63,300 tickets, with 3,360 of that total coming from the Community Pass, which gives the benefit of 90% discount on the purchase of tickets for residents in 14 municipalities around the federal Conservation Unit.
Since the visitors to the Mercosur countries: Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, except Brazil, it had amounted to 32,977 entries. Other foreigners totaled 27,910 ingressos.No accumulated from January to October the park has received 1,014,360 visitors. The high in the period was 21%.
The projection indicates that the numbers could be determined until the end of the year a new record of visits, made in 2005, with 1.184 million visitors.
